Mayor calls for boycott of Flint Journal

Flint Mayor Don Williamson has made a personal appeal on his website www.mayordonwilliamson.com to the citizens of Flint to boycott the Flint Journal and it's advertisers.

Mayor Williamson said on his website:... "Confront them ( the advertisers ) about your concerns and ask them to stop supporting the Flint Journal unitil they change their platform of lies and deceit"...

"Will Detective Don' fill absent ombudsman role?

Williamson, who's virtually powerless under the continuing state takeover of city government, says he hopes to expose drug dealers and city employees who illegally use city equipment or are paid for not working. "The city of Flint has been robbed blind," Williamson insists, and is asking for anonymous tips that he can pursue....Perhaps Williamson is just bored and looking for something to do. If so, we hope his attempts to amuse himself don't cause trouble."
